Nobody likes to look back except for nostalgic reasons. But sometimes it helps to jam on the breaks briefly to reflect about what happened. Indeed, listening to this compilation of tracks that have been released on Uncanny Valley during the last five years feels a bit like watching pictures. Every key Uncanny Valley artist is represented with one track. It was a mammoth task to pick the tracks as there is so much music that deserves to be on this compilation. However, the compilation happened to be as diverse as the Dresden based label’s output and is a great overview for new entrants into the world of Uncanny Valley.
