Phillipp: “It might be a bit exaggerated to state that Dresden was once called "Little Detroit from The East". But there is no question that deep and dirty electronic music has been produced and performed here in numerous dilapidated buildings since the fall of the Wall. Many exciting, often all-too-unknown artists have made sure of that, some of whom are still active today. Both the club culture infrastructure and today's generation of artists in Dresden benefit from this. So it's time for a little special to pay tribute to these unsung heroes. Anyhow, I picked a few of my faves from that place that is our hometown for the new show. Sorry for missing out some of you great artists. There will be a part 2, I’m sure.”
